Is the RMT out of control?
First Southern, then Virgin East Coast and now Eurostar.

Will we have any trains left running this summer?

What a shower of cunts.

Don't worry, the West Ham train will soon be coming over the hill.

Re: Is the RMT out of control?
Southern have posted on their website that they're now offering guarantees that conductors will be kept on trains but in a different role. The guarantee was the one thing the RMT really wanted. So it should all come to and end now. Should. Probably won't.

I was just about to post a thread about the same thing!

The RMT needs taking on and defeating, they are out of control.

Mick Cash is a power crazy. It's not the companies that suffer it's the regular everyday person who just want to live their lives.

Theresa May needs to sort them out.

I do sense a "Thatcher Moment" and its not going to end well for the train Drivers/conductors!!!
They are getting out of control, and heard the guy on the picket line the other day on London news telling the bloke complaining to "Wind ya neck in"!!! Yes mate, ill fucking wind your fucking neck in!!!

If one of the main benefits of being in the EU is a massive increase in Worker's rights, protected by the highest court in the land and enshrined in law.....

Why do we still need Unions?

Liberty taking cunts . The sooner they ate crushed the better.
I don't say that lightly as unions have done some real good over the years, but when you abuse the right to strike so consistently you become nothing but entitled bullies and bullies need to be stamped on.

I do wish the RMT could strike on behalf of Nurses, The Fire Service etc. That would get things sorted deserved pay rises etc without directly affecting the great service they supply.

Southern Railway is a fucking disgrace. The RMT is absolutely right to take these bully cunts on.

Re: Is the RMT out of control?
Wait. Trains in London have a conductor?

Since when?

Don't think I've seen one of them since the early 90s on the LU?

Are Eurostar a bunch of cunts then?

RMT in holding the South East to ransom shock.

These Thomas The Tank Engine cunts seem to think they deserve more for what is essentially a job that you could train a chimp to do.

Why do they have such a fucking high opinion of themselves and the work they do?

Re: Is the RMT out of control?
Inevitable really. Right up to the polling stations closed in the 2015 general election, a Labour victory was expected and predicted. Or at least a hung parliament, with Labour the largest party. The Unions were having a wankfest over the expected Labour victory. Now they are pissed off it didn't happen and are flexing their muscles, where they can.

Southern needs to be nationalised pronto. The corrupt profit-over-passenger cunts who run Govia need hanging.

Mim

I thought the same as I lived in London on a southern line, they haven't had them in years. It's the longer provincial lines that still have guards like the Brighton and milton Keynes lines

Lewisham_Hammer 1:14 Wed Aug 10
Re: Is the RMT out of control?
Their argument is crap, apart from long distance services, Southeastern trains did away with conductors in the early 90's and it hasn't effected anything, they're as useless as they were as Network South East. In actual fact there's no guarantee they have them on long distance cause I got one the other week down to deepest darkest Kent and didn't see him/her once.

They have them on their flagship High Speed route and thats clearly just to stop ticket evaders rather than offering a service.

..waits for some leftie Corbyn fan to tell me its their right to strike!

Re: Is the RMT out of control?
Nationalisation plays right into those cunts hands, unless it means that the govt enforces a no strike rule which would see those pricks off very nicely.

Re: Is the RMT out of control?
Its a shame other unions are not as strong as the RMT, employers getting away with too much holding the employee to ransom, freezing pensions and contributions, lowering salaries, longer hours, more responsibility, cheap labour put that together with managers bonuses not decreasing and very poor management. I think some on here need to live in the real world of private utilities/service industry, maybe you are part of the problem?
